Understanding & Supporting ADHD Colleagues in the Workplace
It’s important to become more aware of mental health in the workplace, but it isn’t always easy to know what’s best for your colleagues, or how you can better support them so that they feel recognized and fully valued as human beings. In this course, instructor Tiffany Jameson helps you get a better understanding of the impact of ADHD in today’s workplace.
Find out how to identify and recognize ADHD by learning more about what it actually looks like and how it manifests on the job. Explore ways to be an ally to your coworkers with ADHD, acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses and being more empathetic about where they’re at. Get the skills you need to communicate more effectively and deliver better results for your team. Along the way, Tiffany covers best practices by sharing some real-world stories and first-hand experiences of working professionals with ADHD.

Globalization is a double-edged sword. Global firms benefit from a larger market, scale- and location-based cost efficiencies, and exposure to a multiplicity of new product and process ideas. However, globalization also exposes firms to numerous challenges resulting from a dramatic increase in diversity, complexity, and uncertainty. This course is aimed at helping managers learn how to maximize the benefits while minimizing the costs and risks associated with global expansion. Anil K. Gupta, Michael Dingman Chair in Strategy and Globalization at The University of Maryland's Smith School, and a leading expert on global strategy, outlines the logic of global strategy and the questions you must address in order to globalize your company's market presence and leverage global resources.
