How to register for events on the catalog: 

All events are located under the department “Staff Development" unless otherwise noted.

Registration Instructions for the MySLCC Employee Training Portal 

Log into MySLCC. 

Click on the Employee Tab. 

Click on Register for Training on the lower right (scroll down). 

Click on the blue Register for Training link on the top left. 

Click on the Training/Department Drop-Down Menu, then click on Staff Development. 

Click on the Course Drop-Down Menu, then click on the workshop you want to register for. 

Click on Search. 

Click on Details on the right. The workshop details will come up. 

Click on Register in the box at the bottom. You are registered and will receive a confirmation email.

Search Advocate Online Course 

The SLCC Search Advocate program is a crucial part of SLCC’s strategic plan to achieve equity in student participation and completion. This self-paced, online Canvas course introduces participants to key concepts and principles for becoming a trained Search Advocate.
