How to register for events on the catalog:
All events are located under the department “Staff Development" unless otherwise noted.

Registration Instructions for the MySLCC Employee Training Portal
Log into MySLCC.
Click on the Employee Tab.
Click on Register for Training on the lower right (scroll down).
Click on the blue Register for Training link on the top left.
Click on the Training/Department Drop-Down Menu, then click on Staff Development.
Click on the Course Drop-Down Menu, then click on the workshop you want to register for.
Click on Search.
Click on Details on the right. The workshop details will come up.
Click on Register in the box at the bottom. You are registered and will receive a confirmation email.

Search Advocate Online Course

In this course, leadership coach Vanessa Womack equips you with knowledge and impactful strategies that can help you successfully manage, counsel, and lead a diverse team. Vanessa first explains how to prepare yourself to lead by identifying cornerstones of diversity and reviewing diversity and inclusion terminology. She then shares strategies for observing and coaching your team to cultivate behaviors that build trust and strengthen relationships.
