LinkedIn Learning Courses

44 minutes

In a “lead from anywhere” workplace, leaders must form deep, genuine connections with those they lead regardless of where they are. In this course, Ron Carucci teaches leaders at all levels how to strengthen bonds with their teams to avoid feeling torn between either holding them accountable or showing them care. Ron explains how you can offer caring and direct feedback on all aspects of performance, build team members’ commitment to greater levels of performance, and provide coaching that allows team members to discover and take ownership of areas they need to improve, strengths they can build on, and opportunities to stretch.

Team leaders should aim to create an inclusive culture that celebrates differences and fosters the best performance from every team member. In this course, leadership coach Vanessa Womack equips you with knowledge and impactful strategies that can help you successfully manage, counsel, and lead a diverse team. Vanessa first explains how to prepare yourself to lead by identifying cornerstones of diversity and reviewing diversity and inclusion terminology. She then shares strategies for observing and coaching your team to cultivate behaviors that build trust and strengthen relationships.
