Associate Vice President for People & Workplace Culture
On June 1, Rick Enyard joined SLCC as associate vice president for People & Workplace Culture (PWC). Rick has a depth and breadth of experience in human resources and strengthening organizational culture. Most recently, Rick served as the chief human resources officer for the City of Columbia, Missouri. In addition, Rick has experience serving in similar roles in higher education, notably at Elgin Community College and Indiana State University.
Rick holds multiple degrees from the University of Missouri, including a bachelor’s degree in educational studies and counseling services, a master’s in educational counseling and personnel services, and a doctorate in higher education and foundation administration.
Associate Vice President for Facility Services
On June 16, Joshua Sylvester joined SLCC as associate vice president for Facilities Services. Josh has significant experience in facility and operations management, recently serving as the director of facilities for Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. Before working with Thanksgiving Point, Josh worked as a project manager and engineer for Big-D Construction and a facilities manager for JR Simplot.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Las Vegas. Additionally, Josh holds a ProFM Certification and Six Sigma Certification.
Interim Senior Director for People & Workplace Culture
Lisa Fowler recently accepted the appointment of interim senior director for PWC. Lisa will serve in this interim role through June 30, 2023.
Lisa holds two degrees from Brigham Young University, including a bachelor’s in English literature and a master’s in organizational behavior and human resource management. Additionally, Lisa holds a Juris Doctor degree from J. Ruben Clark Law School, BYU.
