Braving the Wilderness: One-Day Restorative Retreat with the
Center for Authentic Leadership and Mindfulness.

Due to popular demand, the Center for Authentic Leadership and Mindfulness (CALM) is offering an additional date (May 7) for a one-day contemplative practice virtual retreat. This retreat is for anyone interested in slowing down, de-stressing and doing reflective work in the comfort of your own home or chosen environment. This one-day retreat is based on the philosophy and work of Brené Brown’s book Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone.

This interactive retreat includes reading materials and items for reflective practices that will be available prior to the retreat. There is no cost to participants. All employees—faculty and staff, with supervisor approval—are welcome to attend.

Previous attendees have said:

“My time in retreat deepened my desire to connect with students and colleagues in a more meaningful way.

“Great chance to de-stress and reminded me to bring my best self to the work I do at the College.”
