Faculty Learning Community: JEDI in the Classroom 
This Faculty Learning Community (FLC) is designed as an ongoing space for faculty to be in community with each other, develop trust for open dialogue, and discuss justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) issues in the classroom.  
Date: Thursday, 1:30 – 2:30 pm, November 18, TB225D-A,hybrid.   
 
Developing an Inclusive Syllabus Workshop, Dec 1, 2:30-4:00pm 
While the syllabus is a familiar feature in an academic course, we often overlook strategies to design a syllabus that is inclusive. Whether you are an experienced or new faculty member, participants will have the opportunity to develop or assess a syllabus for inclusive components such as tone, policies, statements, and transparency. If possible, please bring a syllabus with you. 


ePortfolio Boot Camp Jan. 6, 2022, 10:00-2:00 pm 

This intensive ePortfolio training will help faculty more effectively use ePortfolios in their courses. Participants will learn how to integrate ePortfolios in course syllabi, signature assignments, and reflection activities and prompts. Faculty will also learn how to model ePortfolio pages for their students using the school’s ePortfolio platform, Digication. In addition, there will be a brief introduction to the benefits of creating your own professional portfolio. Those who complete this training will be eligible for the ePortfolio Pedagogy badge. Lunch will be provided.
