Summer Caregiver Workshops for Employees
Staff Development is proud to announce that we are partnering with Salt Lake County
Aging and Adult Services to offer a selection of caregiver workshops for SLCC Employees. This
set of workshops assist SLCC employees who are caregivers in developing the skills needed to
manage an in-home care environment. There is no cost for the workshops; but you must
register to attend. Prior to each workshop, employees who have registered will receive a link
to join the meeting.
CC23 – Identifying Abilities Virtual Training Session Thursday, June 24, 2021 10:00 am – 11:00 am Learning Objectives How much or how little should you ask of those you care for? This question can be answered by reviewing the skills and abilities of the person. What can they do? Where do they need help? And, what can be adapted to maintain independence?
