The MySuccess Learning and Action Community is designed especially for faculty, and will highlight the tools within MySuccess that can help faculty give regular feedback to students and connect students with the tools and support they need to implement that feedback. This learning community focuses on how MySuccess can support our shared goal of student success and retention. If you are passionate about student success, and want to learn more about how you can collaborate with Academic Advising and other support networks through MySuccess, please join us!

Come explore some of the best and most innovative online courses produced this year by SLCC faculty in collaboration with the eLearning team. Get ideas for ways to improve your online courses, and learn about the many services that the eLearning team provides for faculty and staff. Choose from 16 different concurrent sessions. Canvas User Credential course

In this online, facilitated, self-paced course, you will learn to use the key features of Canvas. This 12-hour course is designed for all faculty, including full-time and adjunct instructors. The course is self-paced, so novice and experienced Canvas users can complete this course as quickly as possible. This course is facilitated by SLCC instructional technologists and instructional designers who are available to answer questions and provide feedback. Successful completion of this course satisfies the Canvas competency requirement for eLearning’s companion course, the Online Teacher Credential course. Journaling for Resilience

Join the Writing Across the College program for Journaling for Resilience, twice-weekly half-hour sessions of personal writing. In each session, you’ll find a selection of journaling prompts that will encourage you to explore how you are doing, what you need, or what you are grateful for. Drop in when you can; stay for as long as feels right to you.

ACUE is excited to introduce a set of free resources — including videos and downloadable planning guides — that can be immediately put to use to benefit both faculty and their students. These practices are tailored for online teaching but are also relevant to the physical classroom.
