General Faculty Association Meeting Next Week

To All Full-time and Part-time Faculty!          

We are excited to invite you to our second General Faculty Association meeting of the new year Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 2:30–4 p.m. on WebEx.

Our FA President, Justice Morath, will send you an email with the link to the meeting. 

• This meeting will be packed with current issues regarding COVID, your workload and benefits.
• Come share your concerns and desires for a better workplace.

Here are a few of the many issues your Faculty Association is addressing.

• We have guest speakers. Tim Sheehan was the guest speaker in last month’s FA meeting and talked about what is happening with the legislature and whether we as faculty will be receiving a raise.
• We are advocating for COVID-19 vaccinations to be given in this first wave to those faculty who are required to teach their classes in person at the college. For example, the diesel truck course.
• The Faculty Association constitution is under revision and we could use your input.
